Prabouré ski resort is open from December to March every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Here one can practice downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and skate skiing, toboggan (luge) or …start a snowball fight or build an igloo with friends!

Since the 1970s, the reputation of the Prabouré ski resort has been supreme; for proof, look only to the Forez marathon skate skiing event which is held each year at the start of Prabouré’s season, and which is international to say the least, since it attracts more than one hundred participants from all countries.

Open from December to March, the trails of Prabouré will satisfy all skiers and snowboarders, beginner and experienced alike.

In the morning, strap on your snowshoes and explore the uplands of Forez like you have never seen them before. Or will you instead cut a passage between the steep paths of the fir trees? The afternoon will offer peace and quiet on the five alpine slopes (green and red) served by three lifts. Prabouré harbors a pleasure that has become too rare in the ski stations: to leave your own tracks in fresh snow at almost any hour of the day!

The following day, something new! You already like cross-country ski touring? Then try ski skating! Faster, more powerful, more sporting! It is undoubtedly the best means of exploring the 40 km of tracks of the Scandinavian field of Forez. Why not finish the day by giving snowboarding a try? Do not be afraid to fall, the trails are ideal for beginners and the atmosphere is so good-natured that nobody will laugh at you! You are an accomplished rider? Then enjoy the fresh powder at the trail edges or sculpt a small ramp to get some air!

So that no-one’s left out, a trail has been designed for children and beginners. And finally, whatever your age or your level, don’t miss the toboggan run for anything in the world!
